My journal – by Kevin

Met de laatste schooldag kreeg Kevin een enorme stapel schoolmateriaal mee. Leuk om door te kijken en te zien wat ze allemaal gedaan hebben. Wij blijven in verbazing vallen wat ze allemaal vragen en aan eersteklassers leren. Leukste verrassing was een soort dagboekje met zelf geschreven verhaaltjes gedurende het jaar. Hierbij enkele quotes:

I went to Canada’s Wonderland. I liked the rollercoaster called The Fly. I liked the Thunder Run.

I went away for the weekend. I went swimming in a cold lake. After that I went in the hot tub. (Thanksgiving)

I went away to another country where there is no snow and it’s warm. There was a club that was called kids club. I loved it but when I had to leave I was sad because I liked it so much (vakantie in Mexico)

It is important to have friends because you always have someone to play with. I like my friends because they never cheat in a game. I am a good friend because I help people when they are hurt. A good friend is someone who doesn’t lie.

I love my mom because she’s the best mom in the world (Valentijnsdag. Goede reden).

I love my sister because she is cute and she hugs me a lot (Valentijnsdag. Klopt, Aimee is een knuffeldier en gelukkig kan Kevin het waarderen)

I love my dad because I love my dad and my dad loves me (Valentijnsdag. Eenvoudige maar geldige reden)

I went to an egg hunt with my mom and dad and my sister and my grandmas. It was a lot of fun. There were eggs everywhere. There were even eggs in the trees! (Weekend voor Pasen)

I went to Great Wolf Lodge. We went to the swimming pool. There were slides, there were small pools, really big pools and normal size pools. It was lots of fun. When it was evening, we went to a restaurant like the CN Tower (Pasen, Great Wolf Lodge).

I love my mom, because she is very pretty. Mothers are special because they love you and would never leave you alone (Moederdag... grote zucht van Isabelle).

I went to a cottage by a lake. It was a lot of fun. I went swimming and I went fishing (Victoria day weekend).
